Hurricane Elsa is predicted to pass over us tomorrow.

Clouds began to gather late this afternoon as boats in the harbor were tethered tightly to docks and birds disappeared from the sky.

One gull however, dared to stage a rebellion.

Dared to defy instinct and challenge the approaching storm.

Dared to test the fabric of the clouds.

Dared to believe that the sun and the sky still exist on the other side of darkness…
